High Peak Ceilidh played at our wedding reception in Baslow and we had the best time. All of our guests got involved, even those who had never done a ceilidh before, and so many people have told us how much fun they had. Leading up to the event, we appreciated that Nai was very responsive and easy to communicate with, accommodated all of our requests and even suggested a ceilidh dance for us to have as our 'first dance' which we really enjoyed. We had a real variety of dances which kept it interesting, and the band were great at reading the room, whether we needed a break or whether to keep the momentum going! Some girls dream of wedding dresses, I dreamed of a Ceilidh Band. I have always wanted a Ceilidh band at my wedding, as they are a great way to get everyone on the dance floor, our youngest dancer was 2 years old and our oldest was in their 80’s! Everyone loved it and got involved, even people who wouldn't normally be dancing got involved.
High Peak Ceilidh are brilliant! Nai is an amazing caller, calmer and clear, knowing when to add more or less, as people get the hang of each dance. Everyone who came to our wedding has been praising High Peak Ceilidh non-stop. From first contacting them to after the wedding they have been so professional and helpful! As it’s a wedding our schdeule changed on the day and they were so accommodating and understanding, they completed our wedding day!
